Our commitment to excellence
Roof care since 2019
Experienced roof care helps address vulnerable areas before problems spread.
Manual repair approach
Hands-on repairs provide careful solutions for leadwork and chimney faults.
We look at the whole problem
We assess connected roof issues to address the underlying problem.
Protect the parts of your roof that fail first
Leadwork and chimney repairs often come down to the small details that stop water getting in, and that's where we focus our time. We repair and replace lead valleys, step flashing, apron flashing, chimney leadwork, lead trays, soakers, bay roofs and porch roofs with practical solutions that suit the roof in front of us. We also handle guttering replacements to help direct rainwater away from vulnerable roof areas.
A cracked flaunching line or loose mortar joint might not look dramatic from the ground, but it can let damp travel into loft spaces, chimney breasts and ceilings. We tackle those faults properly with repointing, lead replacement, chimney maintenance, rebuilds and removals where needed. Raw Moss Removal handles this work with the same hands-on care we bring to wider roofing jobs, keeping your roof and drainage working as they should.
Repair methods that match the roof
Our leadwork covers traditional details that need a steady hand, including code 4 lead roofing, traditional valley systems and chimney flashings shaped to sit neatly against the structure. On the chimney side, we can deal with worn pointing, damaged flaunching and unstable stacks before those issues start dropping debris or drawing in water.
Ridge and hip lines need just as much attention, so we install traditional mortar ridges as well as dry ridge and dry hip systems. We also repair cement verges, fit dry verge systems and carry out full verge replacements where edges have broken away. Raw Moss Removal is often called when several of these faults show up together on the same roof.
